Pedal for Pounds 10 with Made By Cooper: The Chairman’s Choice
- Commercial Director and Partners begin training for Bike Ride
- KAL put on special training session on the Watt Bikes
- Very limited places remain so act quickly if you want to take part
Huddersfield Town Commercial Director Sean Jarvis was joined by members of the ‘Huddersfield Hundred’ group of partners to begin training for this year’s Pedal for Pounds 10 with Made By Cooper: The Chairman’s Choice.
The hour-long session was put on by Kirklees Active Leisure and saw Sean Jarvis and some of the Huddersfield Hundred Commercial Partners take part in a special Training Session.
Sean was joined by Paul Ince from The Pink Link, Andrew Tattersfield from Thornhill Dental and John Chamberlin from Thornton and Ross as they competed against Town’s Commercial Director in a series of distance challenges on the Watt Bikes.
Kirklees Active Leisure will be supporting the riders with bi-weekly Spin Class, which will help riders build their fitness and also raise money towards their fundraising targets.
All those taking part had great fun and could see the benefits of getting the early training in for the 313-mile European adventure.
There are still a very limited number of places available so act quickly and secure you place on this year’s Charity Bike Ride that departs on Monday 29 April and embarks on a European adventure around Belgium and the Netherlands.
By taking part, your fundraising will help to raise money that will make a different, being divided up with half going to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and the other half to the Town Foundation; which is further divided to benefit Kirkwood Hospice, Ruddi’s Retreat and their own ‘Early Kick-Off’ Breakfast Clubs.
