Third day of Pedal for Pounds 10 completed as riders board the ferry to Hull

- Over 200 cyclists ride 62 miles from Amsterdam to Rotterdam
- The cyclists power through The Hague
- Pedal for Pounds 10 is in association with Made by Cooper

The riders yesterday (Thursday 2 May 2019) raced through the Hague towards Rotterdam before boarding the overnight ferry to return to the United Kingdom, ahead of the final day of Huddersfield Town’s Pedal for Pounds 10 with Made by Cooper bike ride, ‘The Chairman’s Choice’.

The cyclists began the day in Amsterdam before riding 27 miles towards the only stop of the day in Leiden.

Unfortunately, the rain did eventually make an appearance but the 35-mile cycle towards the ferry saw the cyclists travel through the picturesque Den Haag (the Hague).

The cyclists spent the night on the ferry back to Hull, before beginning a further 88-mile ride back to Huddersfield this morning.

Whilst the cyclists have been tackling the gruelling ride, main sponsor Made By Cooper’s raffle is still ongoing with Huddersfield Town themed prizes up for grabs.

The ride, which is 323 miles in total, began on Tuesday 30 April 2019 and it will finish at PPG Canalside on Friday 3 May 2019; the cyclists will then complete a lap of honour prior to the game against Manchester United at the John Smith’s Stadium on Sunday 5 May 2019.

The cyclists got back on their bikes today and they will when travel the final 88 miles back to PPG Canalside via Scunthorpe United’s Glanford Park and Doncaster Race Course to complete the journey.

Once again, the ride is being held in association with Made by Cooper; a local company with respected worldwide reputation for quality and design.

Based in Lion Chambers in Huddersfield, St George’s Square, the company creates enamel lapel pin badges, patches, medals, socks and much more, with a team of professional designers to help realise your ideas.
