Family Stand Information and Activites

Huddersfield Town has a dedicated Family Area - the Fantastic Media Family Stand Upper Tier - which has a capacity of 2,720.

Have a look at the links below to find out all you need to know if you’re attending a match in our family stand!

Created in 2007, the EFL Family Excellence Award recognises the outstanding experience provided by clubs for young fans and families, as well as their efforts to enhance the match day experience.

Huddersfield Town is one of eight EFL clubs to secure the award consistently over the last decade and has been recognised as offering superb entertainment for families at the John Smith’s Stadium, engaging with young fans and families through Family Stand activities such as face painters, balloon modellers and pre-match autograph areas with players.

The Club also offers activities for the whole family at the PPG Canalside Training Ground ahead of matches too!

The Fantastic Media Family Area offers great value for money. Tickets for under-18s can be bought for just £10 for Category A games and for just £5 for Category B matches.

You can purchase tickets online or via the ticket office by calling 01484 484123 or clicking HERE.

Huddersfield Town’s 'Schools Focus' initiative offers young supporters across the region cheap tickets to come and experience a live game first-hand with their families!

This season, the Schools Focus initiative has been relaunched and offers parents and children from local schools the chance to come to ANY Town game at special, low prices, throughout the 2016/17 campaign.

Local junior clubs can also take advantage of the discounted ticket offers and also have the opportunity to participate in the guard of honour.

Please note, to keep the family friendly atmosphere in our Family Area we do not allow adults to buy tickets without children.

Entry to the Fantastic Media Family Stand Upper Tier is via turnstiles 44-47.

Ground plan

The ‘Town Family’ is a group of match day helpers who are there to give assistance and information to fans at home fixtures, and be a friendly face to families around the Fantastic Media Stand Upper Tier.

They can be identified by their bright uniforms with ‘Here to Help’ on the back, and are on hand to answer questions you may have, or simply to have a chat with!

Town Family

There are also stewards present in the Family Stand area who will be happy to assist you.

Throughout the season, the Club has lots of different activities running in the Family Stand including free face painting, balloon modelling, player autograph sessions, football skills and much more! Activities take place from 2pm either inside the Fantastic Media Upper Tier turnstiles or in the Upper Tier concourse area.

Terrier 7s

Terry the Terrier, our friendly Club mascot, and his girlfriend Tilly the Terrier, will be in and around the Family Stand two hours before kick-off so make sure you keep your eyes peeled for him!
