Wagner frustrated with the result

- Wagner frustrated his side didn’t take its chances

Huddersfield Town Head Coach David Wagner reviewed the Club’s 4-0 defeat at Bournemouth with #HTTV.

David Wagner believed his side’s performance in the first half was good but was disappointed to see his side go behind.

The Head Coach was left feeling frustrated that his side didn’t use their early opportunities in the first half to full effect.

In his interview with HTTV, David Wagner commented:

“I think - and I know it sounds crazy - but I think we’ve played one of our best first-half’s of this season. We created good chances, defended well and played on the front foot but found ourselves 2-0 down at half-time.

“Goals change games, we must blame ourselves as we didn’t use our opportunities.

“After the third goal it was even more difficult than before. The goals influence games and the first two goals were difficult to accept when we played so well in the first half."
