Despite taking the lead inside the final five minutes of regular time, an equaliser in the 95th minute saw Town drop two points on the road against Queens Park Rangers.
While the better side on the ball and seemingly the more likely in the final third throughout, that didn't translate to the scoreline, and the Terriers had to wait until time was almost out to get the lead they deserved.
With new signing Radinio Balker volleying into the box, the ball was gathered by Jack Rudoni who controlled wonderfully before calmy sidefooting home, sparking jublient scenes in the away end - cutting short his celebration to hold aloft the shirt of injured teammate Ollie Turton, after the defender recently suffered a setback in his return from injury.
Throwing themselves forward to look for an equaliser, the home side did fire themselves level in fortuitous circumstances through Kenneth Paal, with the defender meeting the ball with his knee at the far post and finding the top corner, with Lee Nicholls helpless between the posts to deny him.
