During his visit in Huddersfield this week, Chairman Kevin Nagle again made time to speak with supporters during another for tea in the boardroom at the John Smith’s Stadium!

Since becoming Chairman, and having shared tea with supporters in the past, Kevin has repeatedly talked of how having an open and honest relationship and dialogue with supporters is a priority.

Therefore, as part of that commitment, we invited another group of supporters from all walks of life to the boardroom at the John Smith’s Stadium to have tea with Nagle and talk about all things Huddersfield Town.

The event took place on Wednesday 10 January and started with the Town fans introducing themselves to Kevin and explaining their association and relationship with Club, with each supporter able to engage with the Chairman about Town, getting to know more about our Chairman and his thoughts and aspirations for the future.

Topics discussed included the ownership of the John Smith’s Stadium, new signings and the January transfer window, Manager Darren Moore, disabled supporters, what it’s like managing the Club from overseas and how hands-on he’s able to be, future plans with the Academy and his desire to be communicative with supporters.

Additionally, it was also an opportunity for Kevin to receive feedback directly from supporters about the changes and improvements he’s already implemented around match days, and what else can be done to promote an even better atmosphere at home matches.

Located in our boardroom, the space is home to much of our Club history, memorabilia and artefacts from the past, so it’s also an opportunity for fans to see and interact with items that they wouldn’t otherwise have access to.
