Huddersfield Town will host Charlton Athletic in the Third Round Proper of this season’s FA Youth Cup!
The draw was made by the Football Association last month, with the Young Terriers entering the competition at the Third Round stage due to our status as a Sky Bet Championship club.
Following their 11-1 win over Erith & Belvedere, we will host Charlton Athletic at the John Smith's Stadium. The fixture will take place on Monday 18 December, with a 7pm kick-off.
With no replays available in line with competition rules, there must be a winner on the day! If scores are level over 90 minutes, the tie will go to 30 minutes of extra time. If the stalemate still isn’t broken, it will go to penalties!
Launched in 1952, the FA Youth Cup is the premier competition in Under-18 football. The Club’s best performance saw the Under-18s finish runner-up in the competition in the 1973/74 season, losing 2-1 on aggregate to Tottenham Hotspur over the two-legged final.
Supporters are welcome to attend this fixture at the John Smith's Stadium this evening, with tickets priced as follows:
General admission will cost £5 for adults and £2 for concessions, with fans entering through the Core Stand Lower turnstiles.
For Hospitality tickets, these will cost £10 for adults and £5 for concessions, with supporters needing to enter through the main reception.
