TEAM NEWS: TOWN vs LEICESTER CITY

12 August 2023

- Huddersfield Town side named to play Leicester City
- Manager Neil Warnock has made one change to the side
- Club Captain Jonathan Hogg starts in the league

Huddersfield Town Manager Neil Warnock has made one change from our last league game for today’s Sky Bet Championship fixture against Leicester City; 3pm kick-off at the John Smith’s Stadium.

The only switch from our league opener at Plymouth Argyle comes in midfield, where club captain Jonathan Hogg completes his return from his pre-season ankle injury. He replaces Rarmani Edmonds-Green, who drops to the bench.

Matty Pearson retains his place in the side despite the leg injury that forced him off against the Pilgrims last weekend.

Loanee Tom Edwards makes his competitive home debut for the club today, whilst Jack Rudoni is making his 50th Huddersfield Town appearance in all competitions.

Warnock is without Jaheim Headley (suspended), David Kasumu (ankle), Ollie Turton (knee) and Tom Lees (calf).
