TEAM NEWS: BOLTON vs TOWN

23 July 2022

Side named for second friendly of the day

- Huddersfield Town side named to face Bolton Wanderers
- Danny Schofield names senior side for test against League One side
- Some players missing today through illness

Head Coach Danny Schofield has named his side for our second pre-season friendly of the day against Sky Bet League One side Bolton Wanderers; 3pm kick-off at the University of Bolton Stadium.

The side is almost identical to the one that faced Doncaster Rovers last weekend, with the only change seeing Josh Ruffels come in at left back for Ben Jackson.

There are a handful of players who haven’t featured in either senior friendly today.

Unfortunately, Japan international Yuta Nakayama’s final international clearance from FIFA has not been received in time for today’s game, whilst latest recruit Tino Anjorin is not involved having played for Chelsea on Wednesday before flying back from the USA to join us on Thursday night.

David Kasumu, Will Boyle and Aaron Rowe are not risked after suffering with illness during the week.

Town’s other First Team squad members played in today’s earlier friendly at Tranmere Rovers.
