Huddersfield Town have been drawn at home to Newcastle United in the Third Round of this season’s FA Youth Cup.

The game will be played on Tuesday 15 December 2020, with kick-off at 6.30pm.

We plan to stream the game LIVE, for free, on the Club's official YouTube channel, HTTV! We'll bring supporters more detail nearer the game.

Like other Sky Bet Championship and Premier League sides, the Young Terriers join the competition at the Third Round stage as one of 32 to play at this stage.

The winner must be decided on the evening, with an extra 30 minutes played if the scores are level over 90 and penalties if necessary.

The FA Youth Cup is widely recognised as the top competition in domestic U18 football, with fixtures played at stadia.

Town’s best-ever performance in the competition came in the 1973/74 season, when they reached the final and lost to Tottenham Hotspur over two games.

Led by Jon Worthington, Town drew eventual finalist and multiple winners Chelsea away at the Third Round stage last season, eventually losing 4-0 at Kingsmeadow.

Led by Neil Winskill, Newcastle play in the U18 Premier League North, sitting 10th in the 13-team league with one win and two draws from seven games.
