Town have enjoyed some memorable wins both home and away over Hull City in recent years.

Huddersfield Town 4-0 Hull City – 05/09/2004
Town recorded their biggest win of the 2004/05 season with a 4-0 thumping of Hull City at the John Smith’s Stadium in September 2004.
Pawel Abbot’s half-volley crashed in off the bar to give Town the lead inside the opening 10 minutes. Former Club Captain Rob Edwards fired past the goalkeeper to double the lead soon after.
Chris Brandon and Andy Booth completed the scoring late on whilst Town ‘keeper Ian Gray kept out Danny Allsopp’s penalty in the closing stages.
Huddersfield Town 3-1 Hull City – 15/11/2003
Two goals in the space of nine first-half minutes helped Peter Jackson’s Town to a win over Hull City in November 2003.
Jon Stead made the most of a defensive mix-up in the Hull City defence to open the scoring before he turned provider playing in Andy Booth for the game’s second goal.
Danny Schofield found the net late on to stretch the lead to three before Jamie Forrester pulled a consolation goal back for the visitors in stoppage time, but it was Town who took all three points from the encounter.
Huddersfield Town 3-0 Hull City – 24/04/1993
Town ended the 1992/93 Division Two season with three wins from their last three games, with the first a 3-0 win over Hull at Leeds Road.
Kieran O’Regan opened the scoring for the Terriers from the spot before Simon Charlton and Phil Starbuck got on the scoresheet to round off Town’s penultimate home game of the campaign in style.
Hull City 2-3 Huddersfield Town – 17/10/1992
The first of Town’s two league wins over Hull City in the 1992/93 season came courtesy of a 3-2 victory for Ian Ross’ side on their travels.
The win was Town’s first away win in the league that season with Phil Starbuck, Phil Robinson and Iwan Roberts getting the goals for the Terriers in the mid-October encounter.
