Young Terriers to take on a select non-league side at Ossett United’s Ingfield Ground

- Young Town side to face special non-league select team
- Game takes place on Wednesday 22 May 2019; 7.45pm kick-off
- Select side is made up of players from EvoStik and NECL First Teams

Huddersfield Town youngsters will face a non-league select team in a special game at Ossett United this evening.

The game will test the Town youngsters who haven’t travelled to Germany against a ‘select’ side made up of Under-23 players that are registered to either an EvoStik or NECL First Team.

The ‘select’ side has been selected and includes players from Brighouse Town, Scarborough Athletic, Liversedge, Ossett United and many more.

That will mean two Huddersfield Town youngsters will compete in the ‘select’ side following their work experience spells.

Goalkeeper Harrison Davison-Hale, who has made one First Team appearance for NCEL Premier Division side Athersley Recreation, has been one of two ‘keepers selected.

The other Young Terrier that’s been selected is Mason O’Malley. The left-back has been on work experience at NCEL Premier Division side Liversedge and made 17 appearances for the Club – one of those was in the NCEL League Cup Final. Mason, however, will be released by Town following the end of his scholarship.

Huddersfield Town supporters can support the youngsters in this special match!

The game will kick-off at 7.45pm this evening (Wednesday 22 May 2019) at Ossett United’s Ingfield Stadium. Admission to the game is £4 per person.
