Huddersfield Town B Team to face Fleetwood Town in Premier League Cup on Friday

- Huddersfield Town B vs Fleetwood Town
- Friday 10 November 2023, 7pm kick-off
- Supporters welcome to attend, ticket details below!

Jon Worthington’s Town B Team will be back in Premier League Cup action at the John Smith’s Stadium on Friday 10 November, with Fleetwood Town our next opponents!

Town remain unbeaten in the group stage after two games, drawing 1-1 in both against Nottingham Forest away before securing the same result against Newcastle United at the John Smith’s Stadium.

Having fallen behind in each of their opening two games, Town fought back in each, with Charles Ondo and Kyle Hudlin netting to secure a point. Fleetwood have earned just one point in their own campaign against Newcastle United, with Nottingham Forest getting the better of the Lancastrian side in their other outing.

Looking for their first win of the campaign in the competition, it’s Fleetwood Town next up, with the Young Terriers back in HD1 at the John Smith’s Stadium for the encounter - and supporters are once again able to attend!

Tickets are priced at £5 adults and £2 concessions within the stands. Supporters will be based in the Core Stand Lower Tier, with those supporters wishing to enjoy the game from our hospitality areas for £10 Adults or £5 Concessions asked to pre-book by emailing info@htafc.com before Friday evening!

This fixture is Pay on the Day by cash at the turnstile, however, if you don’t have cash with you on the night you will be able to pay by card at the Ticket Office.

The Premier League Cup is a competition for Under-21 teams, although each side is allowed a maximum of five overage outfield players and one overage goalkeeper.

The group stage is contested between eight groups of four clubs, with sides playing the other three teams home and away. At the end of that stage, the top two teams from each group advance to the knockout stages

This season Jon Worthington’s team has been drawn in Group F alongside Newcastle United, Nottingham Forest and Fleetwood Town.

Town are currently in third place in the group with the same number of points - two - as Newcastle United in third, with Forest top on four points and Fleetwood in fourth place with one.

Supporters are advised that Lower Viaduct Street in Huddersfield will be under night closures at this time to allow road works to be completed. Should this be part of your usual route to the John Smith’s Stadium, please make alternative arrangements.
