See all the best images from Huddersfield Town’s final Premier League game of the 2017/18 campaign.

The game saw Town face Arsenal at the John Smith’s Stadium, knowing that the Club’s Premier League status had already been confirmed after the 1-1 draw with Chelsea.

Not only this, but the match was last for Arsenal Manager Arsène Wenger as he called time on his 22 year spell with the Gunners. Whilst, Dean Whitehead also played his last match as a professional footballer.

David Wagner’s side started the game well and could’ve taken the lead through Tom Ince, but the attacking midfielder was unable to hit the back of the net after meeting Alex Pritchard’s cut back six yards in front of goal.

Town continued to press but fell behind in the 38th minute. A swift passing move was finished off by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at the back post.

The breath taking, celebratory atmosphere at the John Smith’s Stadium spurred on the Terriers but unfortunately, they couldn’t find an equaliser.

Following the conclusion of the game, David Wagner’s First Team squad was joined on the pitch by their families for a lap of honour.

Through these images you will be able to see how hard the players worked against Arsenal and the best images from the lap of honour.
