Denmark and the Republic of Ireland are going head-to-head for a place in the 2018 World Cup Final, meaning an in-house rivalry for two Huddersfield Town teammates!
Town’s first choice stopper Jonas Lössl and Under-23 custodian Tadhg Ryan frequently train with each other at PPG Canalside, but the last week has seen a new rivalry between the two as their respective counties battle it out for a place on the world’s biggest football tournament in Russia next year.
As such, #HTTV stepped in as the pair faced off in a shootout for the bragging rights!
The competition was just as tight as the first leg of the two game Play-Off, for which Lössl and Town centre back Zanka were unused substitutes for the Danes in Copenhagen during a goalless stalemate. Let’s just say the goalkeepers are much better at stopping goals than scoring them!
