Now 30 years on from our move from the old Leeds Road to the John Smith’s Stadium, the Club have been using the anniversary to look back and remember our original home.
As part of our recent celebratory event at the John Smith’s Stadium which featured old merchandise, players, officials and journalists of the day sharing their memories on stage and more, we filmed a special interview between Club Ambassador Andy Booth and former Club Secretary George Binns.
Giving the inside tale of our the stadium move came to be to Huddersfield Town Club Ambassador Andy Booth - who had his own history with the stadium to share! - it’s an interesting, long-form watch and listen for supporters with their own memories of our first home, or younger fans wanting to learn more about where the Terriers used to play.
