In an afternoon full of goals, our Young Terriers came from behind to take the lead in the second half before conceding in injury time for Bolton Wanderers to draw level in the Central League Cup.
Despite being behind at the break, the Terriers came from behind to secure the away point and remain unbeaten in their Central League Cup campaign this season.
After the hosts took the lead early in the first half, DJ Sturridge found the equaliser for Town towards the end of the first half as both teams fought at each side of the pitch. However, Bolton got themselves back in front to lead at the break.
Our Young Terriers took the front foot and scored a further two goals with Sturridge claiming his brace in the 49th minute and a goal from in-form Hazeem Bakre in the 66th minute as Jon Worthington’s side turned things around.
A Bolton goal in injury time took the three points away from Town and points were shared in the Central League Cup, with our Youngsters sitting at the top of Group A!
