Town take on Bristol City on Saturday 9 December at the John Smith’s Stadium in the Sky Bet Championship and just as the players will be competing on the pitch, the fans can compete too because both clubs are Pledgeball partners!
Pledgeball gives fans the opportunity to take actions – big or small – to promote sustainability in a competitive way. Town fans can show their support by making pledges for specific fixtures that will improve the local environment (like using public transport or a reusable cup) – and be in with a chance to win some prizes.
The fanbase that pledges to save the most carbon emissions by midnight on match day will see their club win the Pledgeball fixture.
The HTSA-Pledgeball partnership complements the fan group’s Sustainable Stadium Campaign which aims to raise awareness of pollution and climate issues, while making the John Smith’s Stadium more environmentally friendly.
