- Peter Jackson and Andy Booth visit the Disabled Supporters Club
- Duo participated in a Q&A
- More info on how to become a member of the Disabled Supporters Club

Last week’s monthly meeting of the Disabled Supporters Club had some very special guests – former Town Manager, Peter Jackson, and Club Ambassador Andy Booth!

As part of Level Playing Field’s Weeks of Action 2022, the Town duo participated in a Q&A, with Jacko discussing a range of topics, including stories of some of the players in his dressing room, the 2003/04 promotion season, and his time at Bradford City.

The annual initiative, now in its 17th year, work at every level to ensure that disabled fans can freely access and enjoy live sport.

An evening enjoyed by all in attendance, the Huddersfield Town Disabled Supporters Club meet on a monthly basis at Birchencliffe Sports and Social Club where they enjoy discussions about the Club and life, with drinks and food available to purchase – with the occasional special guest also in attendance!

In the past, the HTDSC have enjoyed hosting Head Coach Carlos Corberán, who opened up about his home life, family, and early career, Club Ambassador Michael Hefele – who stayed for over two hours sharing stories and jokes from his time at the Club – and Club kitman Andrew Brook, who had over 20 years of Huddersfield Town related stories to share from behind the scenes given his uniquely intimate role with the First Team.

If you are interested in joining these meetings, which typically happen in the second week of every month, please contact Disabled Supporters Club Chairman Dave Heatherhill on daveheatherill14@gmail.com for details on how to join.

There are other benefits to Disabled Supporters Club membership too, such as meeting your fellow fans and receiving a monthly newsletter!
