CLUB PROMOTES ‘TERRIERS TOGETHER’ vs WEST BROM

4 March 2024

Sunday is our annual dedicated ‘Terriers Together’ fixture

- Game vs West Bromwich Albion celebrates ‘Terriers Together’
- Sunday’s fixture used to highlight importance of the campaign
- We’ll have more on what’s in store all week on htafc.com!

As a part of the Club’s commitment towards Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, Sunday’s home game against West Bromwich Albion is our annual ‘Terriers Together’ match!

‘Terriers Together’ is an umbrella term to summarise all the work that the club does to make Huddersfield Town as welcoming a place as possible for every supporter, regardless of any protected characteristic.

The annual ‘Terriers Together’ match is a great opportunity for us to throw the spotlight on this work, and we’ll use the match day against the Baggies to show what we’ve been up to most recently!

Throughout the week on htafc.com, we’ll tell you about some new things happening at the club, starting with today’s overview.

Thornhill Dental – our Terriers Together patron

Since October 2022, we’ve been delighted to work with Thornhill Dental, who are our inaugural ‘Terriers Together’ patron.

The Club has enjoyed a long-standing relationship with Thornhill Dental and, through our discussions with Graeme and Jenny Tattersfield, it quickly became apparent that our Terriers Together brand and ethos closely align with Thornhill Dental’s own values in terms of a shared aspiration to give back to our local communities and to foster good relations between people from different backgrounds.

As part of their patronage, Thornhill Dental are the official sponsor of our Terriers Together Inclusion Room.

Find out more about this relationship HERE.

Terriers Together Ambassadors

Every season we ask our players to get involved in the Terriers Together campaign, and they appoint ambassadors from the First Team and Academy squads to get involved in the work.

Since joining the club ahead of the current season, Chris Maxwell has been the ambassador for the senior playing squad. Chris has a big background in getting involved with his clubs off the field, for which he has been recognised on several occasions, and he has been brilliant since becoming a Terrier.

Recently Chris helped us deliver ‘Terriers Together’ LGBTQ+ awareness training to our Academy scholars; read more about that HERE.

Brodie Spencer has been our Academy ambassador, but he now joins Chris in working with the First Team group. Accordingly, Under-19 goalkeeper Francis Hurl will now become the Academy’s Terriers Together ambassador!

Keep checking htafc.com all week for more information on the Terriers Together campaign and Sunday’s game against West Bromwich Albion!
