The council are encouraging local employers to become ‘fostering friendly’ and Huddersfield Town are the first to sign up for this fantastic initiative.
Employers can adopt a fostering friendly policy for their staff, offering foster carers flexibility to take time out and focus on settling a new child into their home, attending school or medical appointments or undergoing training.
