Huddersfield Town Manager Danny Cowley admits his side will face one of the toughest teams in the Sky Bet Championship this weekend.

The Terriers travel to fourth-placed Fulham but Town’s Manager insists that his side go into the game with confidence from their last two results.

Town picked up a point against an in-form Brentford side nearly a fortnight ago before overcoming Hull City 2-1 in the latter stages of Tuesday night’s encounter at the KCOM Stadium.

Cowley is well aware of the challenge that awaits on Saturday but knows his side will go to SW6 in good spirits following their recent results.

“Fulham are one of the best teams in the division; there’s no doubt about that. They’ve got, probably, the best players in the division, a real depth and real quality to their squad,” he said.

“It will be a really tough game. We anticipate a tough challenge, but we go there with confidence. Two unbeaten now and we’re starting to see some seeds of growth in the team.

“We’ll go with a game plan and a motivation to maintain the levels we have got to in the last two performances and try to get a result.”

Town’s Manager gave an update on the status of goalkeeper Kamil Grabara after the Polish U21 international sustained a head injury that forced him off during the win over Hull City earlier in the week.

“He’s good; he’s just been discharged from hospital which is a relief for us all. He took a heavy collision and heavy contact to his head; he’s actually got a small bleed.

“We anticipate best case scenario 28 days (out). We’re going to see a neurosurgeon and that will give us a clear indication of the length of the injury.

“He’s a young boy, an important player to us and we wish him well. Football is important but nothing’s more important than your health.”

With Kamil set for a short spell on the sidelines, Danny admits that the Club are active in looking for another shot stopper.

“It is something now that we’re looking at in terms of getting another goalkeeper in because we only have Joel (Coleman) as a senior ‘keeper in the building.

“We would like to do it. We worked hard yesterday and today to try to make that happen but obviously it’s got to be affordable.”

Danny also provided an update on the rest of the squad ahead of Saturday’s trip to the Capital, including that of Danny Simpson and Jonathan Hogg who both missed Tuesday night’s game.

“We’re looking good. We’ve got virtually everybody back on the grass now.

“They have both been on the grass and we are hopeful that they will be available for selection on Saturday.”
