SUPPORT FANS FOR FOODBANKS VS BLACKBURN

28 December 2019

Bring donations to the game against Blackburn Rovers

- The Fans for Foodbanks initiative will continue against Blackburn Rovers
- There will be collection points at the John Smith’s Stadium
- Support the Welcome Centre and Batley Foodbanks

The Town Foundation asks fans to continue their support for the Fans for Foodbanks initiative with a donation ahead of the Blackburn Rovers game.

Supporters are asked to keep up their fantastic support for the initiative by bringing tinned vegetables, dry goods such as pasta and, if possible, some festive favourites.

If you’re attending Sunday’s match against Blackburn Rovers, then look out for the branded bins based at the John Smith’s Stadium. There will be two by the players’ entrance of the Core Stand and KAL Leisure Centre. Additionally, new branded bins can be found within the Terriers Store, at the home turnstile of the Abzorb South Stand and at the entrance of the hospitality area of the Stadium.

All the donations from the Blackburn Rovers match will directly benefit the Welcome Centre in Huddersfield and Batley Foodbank.

Donations at this time of year are even more important as the shelves become emptier! So, make sure you look out for the bins, which will be out from 1pm.
