David Wagner names side to face the Italians
Zanka makes his first appearance of pre-season in Town’s penultimate pre-season friendly against Italian Serie A side Bologna FC 1909 today; 5pm (UK) kick-off in Brixen Im Thale, Austria.
The Danish international, who was given extended leave this summer after his exploits in the 2018 FIFA World Cup, starts at centre back this afternoon.
Florent Hadergjonaj starts the game on his 24th birthday alongside summer recruits Ben Hamer, Terence Kongolo, Adama Diakhaby and Ramadan Sobhi.
Jonas Lössl is among the substitutes today, as is fit-again midfielder Juninho Bacuna after his slight knee issue.
Most players in the match day squad are expected to get minutes at some point during the game, in which Town will wear the new yellow alternative kit.
