Attacking midfielder returns to Town after loan spell

- Jack Payne recalled from loan spell at Oxford United
- Attacking midfielder has scored seven goals this season
- Payne also set-up 12 goals for the Sky Bet League 1 club

Attacking midfielder Jack Payne has today been recalled by Huddersfield Town from his loan spell at Sky Bet League 1 side Oxford United.

Jack joined Oxford United at the beginning of the 2017/18 campaign originally on a season long-loan, however, Huddersfield Town has exercised its recall clause on the creative midfielder.

The 23 year-old, who has predominantly featured in the number 10 role, made 33 appearances for Oxford United during his loan move with 27 coming in Sky Bet League 1.

Payne contributed to 19 goals for the U’s (seven goals and 12 assists) as Pep Clotet’s side sits 10th in the Sky Bet League 1 table.
