Huddersfield Town Head Coach David Wagner revealed to the press how excited he is ahead of this weekend’s Premier League game against Watford.
When previewing the game, Wagner explained that he can’t wait for Saturday’s game against the Hornets because his side has a big opportunity ahead of it.
Town’s Head Coach issued a rallying call to the Club’s supporters to create an atmosphere like no other this weekend and to help his players if they need it on the pitch.
David Wagner went on to discuss how he can only take small points from the win at Vicarage Road earlier this season because of Watford’s change in Head Coach, whilst discussing Town’s ‘proper Terrier’ Jonathan Hogg returning to training.
The Head Coach also discussed Huddersfield Town Day and the Club’s magnificent achievement in 1926.
Looking ahead of this weekend’s match, David Wagner commented:
“I am excited; I can’t wait for Saturday, that we play this game in front of our home crowd.
“A big help for me, is the experience I had last year, it feels a lot like the experience we had last year before the Play-Offs; it was very exciting.
“Everyone, including me, wanted to find out where it ends and that’s comparable now at this stage in the season.
“We have five games to go, five important games and we have to take it game by game.
“The next one is the most important one, in front of our home crowd, which is maybe a small advantage that we have.
“Maybe this is the first time in two and a half years where I don’t say our supporters should be on our best, they have to be there and play their part on Saturday. I’m totally sure they’ll do it.”
