TEAM NEWS: TOWN vs MAN UTD

21 October 2017

Huddersfield Town Head Coach David Wagner has made three changes to the team for today’s Premier League game against Manchester United; 3pm kick-off at the John Smith’s Stadium.

Aaron Mooy returns to David Wagner’s starting line-up for today’s game against the Red Devils and is set to make his 50th start for the Club.

The midfielder was on the bench last weekend against Swansea City after he featured for Australia a World Cup Play-Off in the week leading upto the match.

Danny Williams also returns for the Club, making his first start since Town’s 1-1 draw with Leicester City. He will start in the middle of midfield with Jonathan Hogg, meaning Aaron Mooy will start in the number 10 role.

The final change comes at left-back as Chris Löwe has been brought in to replace Scott Malone. Löwe has featured in every Premier League for Town so far this season.

There’s also a welcomed return to the substitutes bench for Town’s top scorer Steve Mounié who has been out with a heel injury since the Club’s 2-0 defeat away at West Ham United on 11 September 2017.

Otherwise the starting XI is unchanged from the previous Premier League game against Swansea City, with Elias Kachunga making his 50th league start for the Club today.

Wagner is still without the services of Philip Billing (ankle), Collin Quaner (calf), Jon Gorenc Stanković (knee), Michael Hefele (Achilles) and Kasey Palmer (hamstring).
