6 March 2013

Send FOUND04 £2 to 70070

You can now text to donate to the Town Foundation – simply send ‘FOUND04 £2’ to 70070 to donate £2 to the charity!

With seven ‘Early Kick-Off’ Breakfast Clubs now in full swing (click HERE for information), your £2 donation could make a big difference to the lives of young children across our region:

- £2 will cover the cost of the cutlery and crockery for two children
- £2 will feed on average four children for a day
- £2 will ensure that four children will be able to play and engage with other children in their school, learning key social skills and gaining confidence

If you would rather donate via the internet, simply visit www.justgiving.com/HuddersfieldTownFoundation.

Saturday’s game against Charlton Athletic has also been dubbed the ‘Town Foundation Game’ – find out more about what’s in store HERE!

The overall aim of the Huddersfield Town Foundation is simple – to help improve the quality of life for young people across Huddersfield and the West Yorkshire area.

The brainchild of Huddersfield Town Chairman Dean Hoyle, the Foundation was officially launched in July 2012 after the football club enjoyed huge success in previous initiatives designed to benefit youngsters across the community.

Dean, backed by local businesses and individuals alike, had already taken a cumulative total of almost 2,000 local children to the Club’s two Play-Off Final games at Manchester’s Old Trafford in May 2011 and the iconic Wembley Stadium in May 2012 to watch Huddersfield Town in action on the big stage. Without the financial backing raised through initiatives such as a bike ride from Huddersfield to Wembley in the week leading up to the 2012 game, those children would not have that treasured memory.

Businesses and individuals can easily get involved with the Huddersfield Town Foundation. Every pound that comes into the Foundation will be DOUBLED by Foundation Trustee Dean Hoyle.
