MESSAGE FROM DEAN HOYLE & THE BOARD

31 December 2012

Final message of 2012

As the year comes to an end I thought it right that we send a personal message of thanks to you all.

Huddersfield Town and its supporters together have enjoyed a very special year; a real rollercoaster ride. Nothing is every easy at this Club!

We have seen more progress right across the whole club - on and off the field. That's essential for the long term.

All this comes from real teamwork, great people working hard every day and values to be proud of. With good leadership, a plan and vision for what the Club is about, it makes a recipe for progress.

I believe the staff, players, Board, supporters and I are all "One Club"; together everyone doing our best for Huddersfield Town.

I'm sure each one of us has our own personal special moments and memories from 2012!

It is sometimes easy to take for them for granted and too quickly forget what we have achieved and how the Club has changed in recent years. There are so many things that "make the difference".

After so much work to gain promotion, to finally be a Championship Club again takes all the plaudits and rightly so.

At the same time the efforts of the Club and supporters on projects like the Town Foundation, Early Kick-Off Breakfast Clubs, the "Keep It Up" campaign, "Give and Let Live" organ donation promotion, The Yorkshire Regiment Benevolent Trust and Canalside to name just a few, together makes for a special club "doing the right thing". I look at other clubs and know we are on track.

Thank you all, from me, Sean, Ann and Nigel.

Finally, I personally salute everyone for the support you have given the players, the staff and directors and the Club and me.

I am so proud to be part of it. Up the Town!
