Huddersfield Town central midfielder Reece Brown has today joined Sky Bet League 1 side Peterborough United on loan for the rest of the 2019/20 season.

The 23-year-old, who joined the Terriers at the start of the 2019/20 campaign, has been limited to one start this season, which came in Town’s defeat to Lincoln City in the Carabao Cup.

Prior to joining Town, the attack-minded midfielder played a key role in the Forest Green Rovers side that reached the Sky Bet League 2 Play-Offs during the 2018/19 campaign; that season he scored 11 goals and got 15 assists.

Reece will now join the Posh for the remainder of the campaign under the stewardship of Darren Ferguson.

Peterborough United currently sixth in Sky Bet League 1 table with 36 points from 24 games.

The midfielder’s contract at Town runs until the summer of 2022.

Huddersfield Town Manager Danny Cowley commented:

“Reece is a technical footballer who did really well in Sky Bet League 2; he created and scored a lot of goals at that level.

“This is a good opportunity for him to go out and play games at the next level in Sky Bet League 1 to further his development.”
