TEAM NEWS: ROTHERHAM vs TOWN

16 March 2024

André Breitenreiter makes one change to the team.

- Huddersfield Town side named to face Rotherham United
- Head Coach André Breitenreiter makes one change to the side
- Radinio Balker makes his first start in five games

Huddersfield Town Head Coach André Breitenreiter has made one change to the starting line-up for today’s Sky Bet Championship game against Rotherham United; 3pm kick-off at the AESSEAL New York Stadium.

That change comes in defence, with Radinio Balker returning for his first start in five games following his recent quad injury. He replaces Tom Lees, who misses out with a calf problem.

The side is otherwise unchanged from the one that started against West Bromwich Albion last weekend, which means a couple of our players hit career landmarks. Matty Pearson is making the 450th appearance of his senior club career this afternoon, whilst it’s David Kasumu’s 150th club appearance.

Tom Edwards returns to the bench today having missed last weekend’s game with an ankle injury, whilst Wales Under-21 international Pat Jones replaces Tom Iorpenda.

Breitenreiter is without Josh Ruffels (groin), Ollie Turton (knee), Kian Harratt (suspended), Tom Lees (calf), Yuta Nakayama (knee), and Rhys Healey (groin).
