Huddersfield Town defender Yuta Nakayama will join HTTV live at full-time from the King Power Stadium, discussing our first Sky Bet Championship game of 2024.
Having been called up by the Japanese national team for the 2024 Asia Cup in Qatar earlier today, this will likely be Nakayama’s final game for the Club for a number of weeks as he’ll now join his country to prepare for a major international tournament.
Unfortunately seriously injured before Japan’s participation in the 2022 World Cup - again in Qatar - this is a welcome and deserved opportunity for the defender to represent his country on a big stage, with the Samurai Blue confident of progressing deep into the event.
Before all that, though, Yuta started for Town at the King Power Stadium today on the left of a back three, and he will join HTTV shortly after full-time to discuss the game, the result, his performance and his thoughts on joining up with Japan in the coming days.
