Huddersfield Town’s Alex Matos and Jon Worthington spoke to the media from the Millers Oils High Performance Complex on Friday afternoon ahead of the visit of Hull City this weekend.
The final fixture of Worthington’s tenure as Caretaker Manager, the former Town captain and current Academy Manager discussed his feelings on how he’s felt in the post, the results during his brief watch and the work that is now ahead of him with the Huddersfield Town Academy - all while keeping a firm eye on the test Hull City will pose and what the Terriers can expect from the Tigers.
Likewise, our January loan arrival Alex Matos opened up about his time at Town so far, with two consecutive Player of the Match performances under his belt in Town’s last two home home victories over Sheffield Wednesday and Sunderland showing exactly what the energetic midfielder is capable of. Having become a firm fixture in the team since arriving from Chelsea, Matos also discussed how he’s finding playing in the Sky Bet Championship and life in West Yorkshire
