Local derby for our Town Women this week

Huddersfield Town Women will be travelling the short distance to the Liversedge FC football ground as they take on Halifax in the FA Women’s National League on Thursday 7 September 2023, in a 7.45pm kick-off.
After losing our first game of the 2023/24 campaign on Sunday, away at Stoke City, we will be looking to bounce back against Halifax on Thursday.
Two first half goals followed by two second half goals were the difference against Stoke City and Town on Sunday afternoon.
However, we looked dangerous while 2-0 down and almost got one back as Yas Mason beat her defender and cut the ball back for Feiruz Abdullahi, but the shot was saved and put behind for a corner by the Stoke defence.
So, Glen Preston's side will be looking to return to winning ways as they travel to take on Halifax, with the game taking place at Liversedge FC (Quaker Lane, Liversedge. WF15 8DF), with the game kicking-off at 7.45pm.
