Town Manager Darren Moore said he was greatly encouraged by how his side performed, admitting that it felt more like two points dropped at full-time after a late equaliser.
His first match at the John Smith’s Stadium in charge, the Manager and his staff had clearly made an impression on the side already, with the Terriers flying out of the blocks going immediately onto the front foot.
Speaking about his pride in the players, how thankful he is to the supporters for their reception at home and the work he’s doing to feed his ideas into the squad, it was a second encouraging game in a row for Town after the late drama at Coventry.
Now five games without defeat for Town, our next Sky Bet Championship test is on Tuesday evening away to Birmingham City at St. Andrew’s.
