Town Manager Darren Moore was very happy with the second half reaction of his new players as they came from behind to secure a point at Coventry City on Monday evening.

Michał Helik’s late shot gave the Terriers a deserved share of the spoils and Moore was happy that his players showed what they are capable of.

“I’m elated with it, to see it go in the back of the net!” Darren said HTTV of the late equaliser.

“We knew it was going to be a tough game tonight; they’re a good team that move the ball around well with good patterns and fluidity. Even though they threw a lot at us, I thought our three centre backs and defenders dealt with it quite well.

“I’ve not seen their goal (back), but it looked like it took a ricochet and one or two of the lads felt it was offside. What I liked was that the lads composed themselves and stayed in the game.

“We got in at half time and made one or two changes. We spoke to them about getting more engaged and getting higher up the pitch – but also, when the ball was turned over, connecting a couple of passes. By doing that, it means we’re in control of the ball and we could work it into certain areas of the pitch. When we did, I thought it started to cause them one or two problems.

“For 20-25 minutes I thought we had control of the game and fashioned a couple of half-chances from it. That was pleasing. You could see the boys growing in confidence.

“As the game wore on into the last 10 or 15 minutes, we brought on Sorba, Kian and Kyle and I thought that unsettled them a little bit. Right at the end we managed to get that chance from the cross from the wide area, and it was good to see Micha get on the end of it and score. We’ve come away with a valuable point.
