LOAN WATCH: TERRIERS PLAYING FOR CLUBS AROUND THE COUNTRY

An update on how Town’s players are performing at their loan clubs

- Round up of Huddersfield Town’s loan players
- Players getting valuable first team experience
- Matty Daly on the scoresheet, Ondo out in Ireland

Huddersfield Town currently have eleven players out on loan, gaining valuable experience.

A host of Young Terriers are making an impact at senior level and getting invaluable exposure at competitive first team football.

Matty Daly - Harrogate Town 

Matty Daly has made a big impact in North Yorkshire, making 27 appearances for Harrogate Town, scoring six times, most recently against Barrow in a 1-0 win.

Since recovering from a knee injury during the World Cup, the 22-year-old attacking midfielder has fought his way back into the first team and held down a starting sport ever since.

Danny Grant - Harrogate Town 

Grant has made 27 appearances so far this season whilst out on loan at Harrogate Town. In that time, he has scored once and made three assists.

Grant is playing a big part in keeping Harrogate in the Football League with the club seven points clear of the relegation zone. The 22-year-old joined the cub in the summer.

Josh Austerfield - Morecambe 

Austerfield is currently out on loan at Morecambe after starting the season as one of four loanees out at Harrogate Town. Austerfield made 23 appearances for Harrogate before making the step up to League One in January.

Since joining Morecambe, he has made all six of his appearances from the bench. The 21-year-old plays most of his football in central midfield or in a defensive midfield spot.

Romoney Crichlow - Bradford City 

Crichlow joined Bradford City in the summer and has played 26 times for the Bantams, starting all but three of those. Crichlow recovered back from a calf injury in December which kept him out of two games and saw Bradford concede six goals.

Bradford have kept 12 clean sheets when the 23-year-old has played, including their most recent 0-0 draw against Carlisle in which the defender came on in the 69th minute, Crichlow has also contributed one assist this season.

Giosue Bellagambi - Salford City 

Bellagambi is currently out on loan at Salford City after joining in January.

Bellagambi started the season at Hyde United where he made 12 appearances, starting all of them before he moved to Spennymoor Town and made 14 appearances, conceding 19 and keeping one clean sheet.

The Ugandan International ‘keeper is yet to make an appearance for Salford but is waiting patiently should he be called upon.

Ryan Schofield - Crawley Town 

Schofield started the season on loan at Hibernian in the Scottish Premiership but is now at Crawley in League Two where he’s made two appearances since joining in January.

Charles Ondo - Waterford FC

Ondo is out on loan at Waterford FC in Ireland where he has made two appearances for them in their opening five games of the season.

Ondo may be a familiar face for Town fans as he made his debut against Hull City in October and made two appearances for the club this season. The 19-year-old joined in February and will return in the summer.

Myles Bright - Hemel Hempstead Town 

Myles Bright is on loan at Hemel Hempstead Town, joining in March 2023. Since joining, he has made one substitute appearance for the club.

Tom Iorpenda - Hyde United 

Mdfielder Tom Iorpenda joined Hyde United on Saturday 18 March and went straight into the starting XI for their game against South Shields FC that same day and played the full 90 minutes in his debut.

Michael Stone - Liversedge 

Midfielder Michael Stone has gone out on loan to Liversedge FC to gain some experience at Northern Premier League division level. Stone has made two substitute appearances at the club so far.

Conor Falls - Liversedge 

Conor Falls has joined Stone at Liversedge FC. Falls is yet to play for the club but is waiting for the opportunity to do so.

Josh Mazfari - Tadcaster Albion 

Our young 'keeper joined Tadcaster Albion on loan at the beginning of January and after impressing at the club, has had his loan extended twice - he will remain with his loan club until the end of the April. 

Mazfari has been between the sticks in 10 games since arriving at Tadcaster.

Sam Taylor - Northallerton Town 

Our 18-year-old 'keeper has been playing senior football with Northallerton Town since the beginning of the season in August 2022.

Taylor has appeared in goal for for the EBAC Northern League Division One side 24 times so far this season!
