B Team players Charles Ondo and Conor Falls recently attended the Huddersfield Town Foundation’s TURN OUT’s KICK-OFF session to share their story to the care-leaving young people and refugees.
TURN OUT is a programme that Town’s Official Charity delivers in partnership with Kirklees Council that aims to support people with the experience of being in the care system by guiding them towards employment, education, and training.
Ondo and Falls attended the session which consisted of football drills and a match before the B Team duo discussed their backgrounds in moving permanently to a new country with a limited support network around them.
It was an inspirational talk for the participants, who also asked Ondo and Falls some more questions before having a light kickaround with the pair.
