- Performance free to attend outside ground in our fan zone

We are delighted to confirm that Huddersfield band FLAWES will be performing at the John Smith’s Stadium ahead of our first home Sky Bet Championship fixture of the 2023/24 season!

A free performance for supporters in our fan zone opposite the Odeon cinema, the band will start their set from 1.45pm for an hour, helping us lead up right the way to kick-off at 3pm.

Supporters will remember FLAWES from our 2021/22 season, with the band playing at the John Smith’s Stadium as we unveiled our beach glass Umbro designed third kit!

Supporters can find out more about the band and listen to their music by visiting their official website – CLICK HERE.

In addition to the entertainment, we will also welcome Burger Burger from Honley as our street food vendor for the fixture, with a covered area also in place should it be required. For those looking for a drink, Magic Rock’s container bar will also be open, serving the ever-popular Town Lager.

As was the case against SC Heerenveen, supporters will be able to use our all-new drinks dispensers externally at the John Smith’s Stadium too, with a Roll Over Hot Dog Cart also available.

Huddersfield Town CEO Jake Edwards commented:

“Ensuring that supporters have the best experience possible from the second they arrive at the John Smith’s Stadium is an off-field priority of ours, and this fan zone underlines that.

“We’re delighted to have a local band who’ve done so well internationally like FLAWES help us kick-off our Sky Bet Championship season at home, and with the extended food and drink offerings, there’s no shortage of things for supporters to do at the stadium.

“Having judged the feedback from supporters this is something we knew was important to address, and we’re really pleased to be able to show that commitment from our very first league game of the season.

“Like all things, we will constantly review what is working and what is needed, and will do our best to address and improve where possible across the season – but for now, we hope that supporters are encouraged to arrive early and enjoy everything on offer before the game!”
