Huddersfield Town B Team striker Kian Harratt is happy with his start to the 2021/22 season.

The end of last season saw Harratt forced to the sidelines with an injury, so he’s delighted to be back on the pitch and playing games.

“I think it’s been a good start to the season for me on a personal note.

“I’ve got a couple of goals early on, which is good.

“I think as a team we could do a little bit better, as in winning games and stuff.

“We’re a team that’s based on possession and I think we need to do more with that possession and start winning a few more games.”

The striker was quick to comment on the confidence he’s gained from getting off the goalscoring mark so early on.

“It’s great, especially with all of the injuries that I had last season.

“To come back and score a couple of goals early on has put me in good stead for the rest of the season.”

The B Team are back in action on Tuesday 7 September 2021, when they welcome Stockport County to Canalside, a game which Harratt expects to be physical.

“With them being a National League team, I think it’ll be a long ball game with big, strong players.

“I think it’s a good game to get in before Birmingham and the Premier League Cup.

“I think it’s a must win game.”
