Duane Holmes believes Huddersfield Town’s win over Swansea City was “massive”!
The attacking midfielder bagged a brace as the Terriers performed excellently against the Sky Bet Championship promotion hopefuls.
When speaking after the game, Duane discussed his second strike.
“I’d like to say I’ve got it in my locker, I’ve been trying for 10 years and that’s the first one that’s gone in!
“Like you say it’s a great win, a massive win; we needed that.”
That was Town’s first win of 2021 and he explained how big that result could be for the team.
“I think we’ve been playing really well and not getting results, so it’s good to finally play well and win.
“It’s about the team and we desperately needed to win today. I feel like we hadn’t been getting the rub of the green but today we put our chances away and played really well.
“If we keep playing to our ability and let teams worry about us, we’ll get results. We’ve shown today we’re a great side.”
