Huddersfield Town Head Coach Carlos Corberán says the Terriers are preparing to face “very good” side in Brentford on Saturday.

The Bees currently occupy fourth spot in the Sky Bet Championship and will be Town’s first opponents following the return from the international break over the upcoming Easter weekend.

Thomas Frank’s side have impressed Carlos with their clear identity on the pitch this season and will make for a tough opponent in the early kick-off on Saturday, according to Town’s Head Coach.

“I don’t think Brentford changed a lot (since we played them earlier this season) because they have a clear style since (Thomas) Frank started to coach with the team.

“They try to take the ball and attack and they have a lot of versatility. We are looking at the previous game against them to help us prepare.

“We know it’s going to be a strong game against a very good team. It will be one high challenge for us.”

With the visit of Brentford to the John Smith’s Stadium the first of Town’s final nine Sky Bet Championship games this season, Carlos spoke about the Terriers’ targets going into the final phase of the campaign over the coming weeks.

“The faster we get the points the better,” he said.

“We need to be ready to face the competition, reach our points target and continue into the Championship next year.”

Conversing with the media in his pre-match press conference on Thursday afternoon, Carlos was asked about the attacking options he will have at his disposal for the coming games, following the positive news that Rolando Aarons had returned to the training pitch over the international break after recovering from a hamstring injury.

Town’s Head Coach says it allows them to be versatile with their selections across the pitch.

“It's positive to have a lot of options,” the Spaniard said.

“Josh Koroma is in a different situation because he only got back today but Rolando Aarons is getting there, and we have Sorba Thomas available too.

“We have Fraizer Campbell, Yaya Sanogo and Danny Ward available as strikers.

“We have options to change things a bit and play in different shapes.”
