A local family have shown their support to Huddersfield Town and Josh Koroma by sponsoring the forward for the 2020/21 campaign!
As an early Christmas gift for Town fan Muriel, the family clubbed together to provide her with an extra special present this year.
The family have been avid supporters of the Club since the late Stanley Boothroyd – Muriel’s husband – took his sons to Leeds Road back in the 1967/68 season. They now have four generations of Terriers in the family.
Muriel, who is now 91 years old, is still a Season Card Holder and before the pandemic attended games with her sons, grandchildren and great-grandchildren!
They have many good memories of watching the Terriers, which include the 1968 League Cup run, the Second Division Championship in 1970 led by Ian Greaves, the Buxton years with goals aplenty, all the Play-Off successes, the Wagner Revolution (in their 50th season), and so many great matches, amongst the highs and lows of supporting Town.

“We're really pleased to be able to sponsor Josh, as he’s a young player who is pressing for his place in the team and doing well this season!
“We hope to see lots more goals from him with the team's exciting new style of play – and eventually hope to have another crack at the Premier League, and perhaps even one day a cup run to match 1968!”
