Like with fans, football shirts all hold different meanings and memories for professional footballers, so we quizzed Bacca to see which ones stick in his mind.
What was your first football shirt?
It was a lime green Groningen one. I was a fan from day one. I think it was from the 2004/05 season.
What shirt did you wear on your professional debut?
On my debut at Groningen it was like red/purple, like an Aston Villa shirt, that colour was our third kit.
Which team’s shirt is your favourite?
For me, the Barcelona shirt. I’ve always liked Barcelona and if I were to choose between Barcelona or Madrid, I’d always choose Barcelona.
Who’s the best player you’ve swapped shirts with?
To be honest with you I never swap shirts, but I did swap with Virgil Van Dijk. I got his shirt.
Who’s the last player you swapped shirts with?
Someone from Newcastle last season, the midfielder, I think it was Isaac Hayden.
Best shirt of all time?
I think the yellow kit of Barcelona. The one Thierry Henry wore.
What shirt were you wearing for your most memorable goal?
Huddersfield Town’s, this season, I was wearing the Navy one.
