Huddersfield Town’s Academy Manager Leigh Bromby commented:

“We’re delighted to be involved in this prestigious, high-level Under-19 tournament in Germany.

“The level of competition is exactly the challenge that we are looking for as we continue to develop our young players.

“With a myriad of top teams from across Europe taking part, the games will offer different challenges to our Young Terriers and provide them with a number of different challenges.

“Alongside this, they could be playing in-front of a large crowd, which adds an extra element to the competition.

“We’ve seen how beneficial these kinds of tournament have been over the last year and we are really excited to compete in the SPAX Cup this summer.”
