Town’s Under-19s will face Hertha Berlin in the final game of the youngsters’ latest tour of Germany.

The match will take place on Wednesday 22 May 2019 and kick-off at 11am (UK time). You can follow updates on Twitter via @htafcAcademy.

In the first game of the tour, the youngsters were beaten 2-0 by Hannover 96.

Finding themselves a goal down after a poor opening 45 minutes against hosts, Dean Whitehead’s side responded well and was unlucky not to find the equaliser, only to concede a second at the death whilst chasing a goal.

The final game of the Young Terriers’ latest tour of Germany, against an Under-23 Hertha Berlin side, will take place at the Hertha BSC Fussball Akademie.

Hertha Berlin’s Under-23s compete in the Regionalliga Nordost (fourth tier of German football) and finished fourth during the 2018/19 campaign.

The Regionalliga Nordost campaign only finished last weekend (Saturday 18 May 2019) with the Hertha Berlin youngsters drawing 2-2 away from home with FSV Optik Rathenow.
