Another friendly confirmed for Town’s Young Terriers
- Young Terriers to face Pontefract Collieries in pre-season

Huddersfield Town Academy’s latest pre-season friendly has been confirmed with the Young Terriers set to visit Pontefract Collieries on Tuesday 6 August 2019.
Town’s Academy will make the short trip to face the NPL Division One East side at the G&R Construction Stadium (Beechnut Lane, Pontefract, WF8 4RA) for a 7.30pm kick-off.
The hosts finished the 2018/19 NPL Division One East season in second place having picked up 76 points from 38 games. However, the Club was beaten 3-0 in the Division One East Play-Off Final by Brighouse Town, having overcome Ossett United 3-1 after extra time in the Semi-Final.
This is the fifth friendly to be confirmed of the Academy’s pre-season line-up, with trips to Ossett United, South Shields, Bradford (Park Avenue) and Emley AFC already scheduled.
Huddersfield Town supporters will be able to attend the game by paying on the gate.
