Head Coach David Wagner bemoaned his side’s luck as he reviewed the Club’s 0-0 draw with Cardiff City in the Premier League.

The main talking point from the game came in the second half as Town was awarded a penalty for a foul on Florent Hadergjonaj, which was then overturned moments later.

When speaking to the press, Town’s Head Coach gave his view on the incident.

“The video footage speaks for itself, there was clear holding, it’s 1000% a penalty in my point of view.

“The referee has seen it; the referee has given it and then the linesman had an opinion as well.

“An opinion that he said to me the first one wasn’t a foul and the second one he hadn’t seen. I don’t know exactly what he meant.

“We will speak to them after the game but at the end it was a decision that was anything but understandable. It cost us, again, points today.”

David Wagner went on to praise the fight and commitment of his players, explaining how the only thing missing from the performance was a goal.

“Performance wise, from the attitude, we left everything on the grass.

“There was only one team that deserved to win or get something out of this game and that was my team.

“We looked absolutely solid, we wanted to play football and then this one decision where you can put the ball in the back of the net, the referee hasn’t given to us.

“The players represent this football club very, very well, even in these very difficult six weeks.”
