Huddersfield Town’s upcoming game against Tottenham Hotspur has been branded as ‘Celebrate Huddersfield, Celebrate Yorkshire’ with a number of events and activities taking place both leading up to, and on the day of the game.

In partnership with Welcome to Yorkshire, the Club will be celebrating everything that’s great about both the Club and the County with a range of events and displays taking place to help with the celebrations.

The game - which will take place on Saturday 30 September 2017 (kick off 12.30pm) - will see the John Smith’s Stadium branded up with various Yorkshire decorations; including banners, flags and visuals on the big screen.

There will also be a variety of other very special ‘Celebrate Huddersfield, Celebrate Yorkshire’ activities taking place around the ground that will be revealed next week.

The first of the planned events will take place on the Thursday (28 September) prior to the game, as the Club host the breakfast event at the John Smith’s Stadium that will see a panel of Sir Gary Verity, Sean Jarvis and Jacqui Gedman discuss the economic benefit the promotion has had on the Town and surrounding Yorkshire area; for more details and to book on this event click HERE.

Commercial Director Sean Jarvis commented:

“It is a fantastic opportunity for our Football Club to celebrate the great county of Yorkshire that we are a part of; so, dedicating a game to celebrate everything about the Town and the wider Yorkshire area was something we were interested in. As the county’s only Premier League Club, we are very proud of the part that we continue to play in the Huddersfield and Yorkshire community.

“We look forward to working with Welcome to Yorkshire for all the celebrations that will take place at the Tottenham Hotspur game, and I would encourage our fans to keep an eye on htafc.com in the lead up to the game to see what else we have planned for celebrating the area.”
