TEAM NEWS: TOWN vs ASTON VILLA

Wagner makes three changes to starting XI

- David Wagner makes three changes to starting XI
- Joel Coleman replaces injured Danny Ward
- Jonathan Hogg and Collin Quaner also start tonight

Huddersfield Town Head Coach David Wagner has made three changes to the starting line-up for tonight’s Sky Bet Championship game against Aston Villa; 7.45pm kick-off at the John Smith’s Stadium.

Goalkeeper Danny Ward has been ruled out of tonight’s game with the thigh problem he picked up against Newcastle United at the weekend, so Joel Coleman (pictured) makes his second Sky Bet Championship start tonight. The 21 year-old custodian has kept three clean sheets in six competitive appearances for the Club so far. Development Squad ‘keeper Luke Coddington is a substitute.

The second switch comes in midfield, where former Aston Villa player Jonathan Hogg replaces Philip Billing. Despite this, Billing is fit after the calf issue that forced him off on Saturday and is on the bench tonight.

The final change sees Collin Quaner replace Nahki Wells in attack for only his fourth league start for the Terriers since joining from Union Berlin in the January transfer window. Wells is a substitute this evening.

There is another change among the subs tonight, with Jon Gorenc Stanković replacing Mark Hudson.

Kasey Palmer (hamstring) is still ruled out.
